The Italian compact hatchback will be aimed directly at the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and other entry-level luxury sedans in their competitive segment.
To stand out, the Giulia will offer several versions, some of which are simply diabolical. For exemple, the spectacular Quadrifoglio, the top model in the family, is powered by a turbocharged V6 that delivers 510 horsepower and is developed by Ferrari engineers. It will allow the Italian car to reach 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds!
A four-cylinder engine and another six-cylinder variant will also be offered. That said, the Giulia will rely on other interesting elements that will help in the performance department. One can think for example of the 50/50 weight distribution and the undoubtedly impressive driving dynamics both on track and on a winding road.
It’s been a while since we haven’t had a true new luxury sedan added to the compact segment. And although the Giulia ia has not yet been confirmed, it could read our market in the first half of 2016.
